The Federalist Society
США
Добавлен 17 авг 2007
The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

In recent years, the Supreme Court has decided two cases in which it held that certain restrictions against registering certain kinds of marks violate the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment. In Matal v. Tam (2017), it invalidated the Lanham Act proscription against registering marks containing terms disparaging toward a person or institution. In Icanu v. Brunetti (2019), it invalidated t...

Reminds me, everytime I listen to this, what women in politics and the judiciary are up against.
Plea bargaining exists because no attorney on either side ever wants to go to court. Plus without it the system would grind to a halt.
great case summary
Will has my vote
Elon, great job!
Elad, sorry spell check. Great job!
How do you suggest fighting at the ballot box? Doesn't make sense unless you are suggesting the people actually resort to violence on election day when police don't protect transparency. I vote guy with glasses
Universal Law of Free Will is the ONLY LAW. It’s called Natural Law. All this is man made nonsense
Police are the standing army the founders warned about
Political prosecution plain and simple, I don't even need to watch the video full of far left Democrats opinions.
Can't express how obvious the attack is being beccerra brings a scotus case without data, also the true incompetent malicious one goal hhs we have
Great presentation on a very complex topic, ty
Hmmm interesting that both kavenaugh n beccera urge Congress
Contingency based programs is an issue on many levels within hhs
So j. Kavenaugh quoted bad facts knowingly?
WHERE does the CONstitution establish the IRS?
aside from the fact that qualified immunity is simply a way to continue the caste system.
I absolutely disagree with the idea that a public servant shouldn't have to defend their actions in a court. to get at the incompetence you must first examine it, in a court. protecting the rights of the citizen is paramount. the public servant is performing a public service. harming citizens while performing that public service needs accountability, this is how you increase integrity of a fluid system.

I was a long term caregiver I was told the company gave you training if you break the rules and hurt somebody you are personally liable the company will not support you. So basically most jobs you work within certain parameters does that not apply to Law Enforcement.
This relies on one person's judgement right or wrong and others supporting it without question how is that right.
Not a systemic issue what is he talking about there are plenty of videos out there I suggest he watches some.
If LE were only using this against hardened criminals maybe we could understand it but against elderly people and children no way. They man handle people regularly and are used as security for hospitals it's despicable.
The Federalist Society guaranteed it's destruction when they called Dolly Parton "Evil" for not hating people.
The Federalist Society doesn't give a hoot about our Freedoms. It only cares abut it's 's own "freedom" to force it's agenda on others. The Federalist Society guaranteed it's destruction when they called Dolly Parton "Evil" for not hating people.

It's simple jefferson was correct.
Dan Would have been a great Supreme Court justice. Wendi Adelson will not get away with murdering Dan. He was much too good for her.
The biggest problem with the current Federal Reserve was one it was unconstitutional when first created in 1913 and two it’s a weird half-public half-private entity. I believe first there should be an amendment to make it legal then it should just be fully nationalized, but it should be relegated to merely a lender of money and not money printer go burr.
The founding fathers could NOT come up with an agreement, so they compromised on the electoral college. It was not meant to be permanent, it was simply a solution for that moment. If they knew how this country was going to develop and how many people are here now they would be absolutely pissed we kept the electoral college. They did it because the common population was UNEDUCATED and small states were completely dominated by large ones (there were only a few states at the time, and they were afraid of losing their slaves). Abolish the electoral college.
Boeing is going to be a too big to fail because of their military side. Imagine if they ran their commercial side like the military.
A mitigation company wants me~(home owner) to sign an "Assignment of Rights" so my insurance co will be forced to "work with them" regarding a payment they are seeking for services rendered,... (then they won't "have to" send me to collections). I asked the owner of the mit co if it'd release me from any & all obligations to them, & at first he claimed yes, but then later said that if the insurance still refused to pay after they had the rights, then I would still be held liable. I have been very proactive in trying to get all parties to communicate & follow through, but neither party has followed through 100% to resolve the matter, and blame each other for lack of communication, etc. The mitigation company has also been super negligent regarding follow-through on other vital matters, so they definitely have a poor track record! Also...the mitigation co claimed they weren't able to come to an agreement on rebuild estimates, & therefore they wouldn't do all the repairs as originally agreed upon. (My ins agent claimed the mit co declined the job, & the mit co has yet to provide me with those specific correspondence records.) It's now 6 months later, & I have yet to find a good legit contractor that can take on this extensive job, has the time available, etc. Besides that...many non-salvageable items still need to be "re-documented" (since the mit co lost the docs), & reimbursement payments, as well as other various things will still need to be paid to me, &/or future contractors. To add to this craziness... my insurance is dropping me due to the claim before the rebuild is done. 😫 My ? is....if I signed the "Assignment of Rights" over to the mitigation co, doesn't that mean that my insurance would be liable to pay them first~ (BEFORE myself or any contractors receive any type of funds), &/or would I/contractors be able to get ANY repair/reimbursement funds at all since I would no longer have the rights??? I do know that the owner of the mitigation co was surprised when I told him that my home was still in complete disarray. All this also makes me wonder if he thought it wouldn't be too hard to convince me to sign those docs, since he figured all the repairs, payouts, et, would be done by now, & I wouldn't care about them "taking over" as long as it kept me from being sent to collections. Also...do you know what would happen if the rights are assigned to the mit co, but my insurance policy ceases? (Insurance companies still have to payout if a claim is still open correct?) Any feedback wouldn't be MUCH appreciated, & TY in advance!
Can profits be transfered to owner/shareholders to keep taxes lower, for corp tax breaks/corp welfare/Qe stimulating the economy seems to go to the corps more and more ,do they fail by design [pump and dump] without paying taxes, for-profit bankruptcies? Should they still get write-offs, now ai? Can ai control the nervous system?
Does the constitution extend to foreign corps as it should not, nor should taxes be lower than china's
Why are they all number 86?
What should happen actually is not two birds out with one stone the second amendment issued just lost at scotus should be re-examined using the definitions that the therapist use and the Nazi basis of their quazi science. For a manipulative psychotic industry to control who has our guns based on their targets needs to be addressed.
How you can do that is by using their services as them deeming somebody not insane or unstable or an abuser anymore these silly little services that they do, ran by abusers

Starve the Leviathan? He has wonderful powers. He also represents the absolute authority to defend the nation. I'm quite sure Master Hobbes will express his outrage.
These introductions took longer than reading Bakke.
6/20 Now what? I remember Reagan signing the line item veto law and Clinton using it to deny millions of dollars to farmers. I also remember the Supreme Court ruling it unconstitutional yet the farmers never got the money. Sen Durbin was worried about some judges ruling a certain way. Now what will congress do?
19:02 The UNITED STATES is a corporation, not a nation. The United States for America is the nation. Corporations are in the realm of fiction not the living. The people are the only true sovereigns. What we have today are out of control de facto banks and corporations posing has de jure legitimate governments.
Starve The Leviathan.

Your honor! May I please make a comment: Gender that is not male or female: is related to fear. Fear of what our minds say jokingly (pulling leg), can become reality for some. How long would someone take that joke seriously can depend, some carry that joke to their graves. No offense to transgenders. Everyone has their reason, and the reason is love. Attention from the opposite sex, is what drives us to achieve greatness. As a child the attention from our mother, as an adult attention from our lover. Sometimes, the love does not work, mostly because of financial reasons (A no with money is a yes). What do we do to fill these empty spaces. Where once the illogic of love was, now, is the illogic of a joker, pulling our leg: the same that we term as fear. It comes down to what does one believe in. Anyone can believe in anything, and it will be true to him as long that is inside, but to the outside, we are all actors. Religion is based on this principle, but where logic of science gives us an argument to the same illogic of joker, instead of superstition. The truth has no defense against a fool determined to believe a lie. -Mark Twain. This sentence can be perceived in two sense, one where it is to believe what one wilts, and the other, where one is forced to believe what others wilts.
I feel like the real question is about incentive structure. My main concern is media companies actively *trying* to release news that isn't "newsworthy" in an effort to Garner attention when their actual goal is to make money. The paparazzi, for example, is not a group of truth-tellers seeking vital information about important figures like politicians. They're people looking for juicy gossip, and it makes them money when they find it. I'm not sure how much law can do, and I'm trying to learn more, but it definitely seems like if our news were a public resource seeking to act in the public interest instead of private companies trying to make as much money as possible, we'd be a lot better off
